The footbath provided a lovely way to unwind after exploring the area.
Unfortunately, the many stairs leading up to the hotel were quite a challenge, especially with our luggage. It took a toll on our energy levels, and I found myself out of breath multiple times. In addition, the room felt dated and had a slight musty odor, which was disappointing given the price range.

10/10
The footbath? Insane. Chillin' there after a long trek was just what I needed. And then there's the private onsen, pure bliss! Those folks were super friendly too, helped us out when we got stuck in a storm, ain't every day you get picked up like that. Really a memorable experience, no doubt about it.

the stairs to the hotel were a true test of will, and the room had an unfortunate, musty aroma. it is quite shocking that no one thought to offer a complimentary upgrade or at least a welcome cookie, when I had to endure such discomfort. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't deal with the ordinary treatment.

This place suits me perfectly, providing free wi-fi, laundry facilities, and a snack bar. The staff were helpful during my first stay, guiding me on local attractions, which I still remember. It's a fantastic spot for a city break!

The natural onsen experience was phenomenal—especially the private one! 😍 Rooms were spacious and clean, but those stairs can be quite the workout!

Highly recommended for families seeking relaxation
The room was spectacular! The view from the balcony made my heart race. seeing the mountains was like a scene straight outta a dream. Also, the private onsen was a game changer—we had it all to ourselves, soaking up the warmth while the world outside just faded away.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we experienced, I'd say it’s still acceptable.

It was just a great match for a weekend jaunt in Hakone with a reasonable price. The facility is very old but the footbath was an unexpected treat after exploring. Bring your own bath towel to save some cash!

Great location near the train station and friendly staff. Room was outdated but functional.

The location is ideal, just a brisk walk from the train station, making it easy for arrivals and departures. Friendly staff enhanced the experience by sharing valuable local insights and assisting with luggage. The spacious room had a lovely sitting area with tatami mats, providing a genuine sense of Japan. However, the onsen fee was unexpectedly higher than advertised, and a towel rental felt unnecessary. The outdated facilities detracted somewhat from the stay.

Spacious room with a delightful view! The footbath offered a perfect unwind after a day exploring the nearby attractions. The staff was incredibly helpful, guiding us to local restaurants. 🍃🌄
Language barriers can pose challenges and navigating the numerous stairs might be tricky for some.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The footbath was a highlight after visiting the nearby attractions, and the private onsen experience was unforgettable. Staff were super friendly, and the location behind the station was convenient. Don't forget to bring your own towel for the onsen, and definitely check out the 7/11 nearby.
We were charged 900 yen instead of the advertised 800 yen for onsen admission, and had to pay an extra 200 yen for a small towel, which was a bit of a bummer.
